Contract Opportunity: System Engineer (BMS) Contract (Outside IR35) I’m recruiting for an Engineering Consultancy delivering complex systems across the UK rail network — from major station rebuilds and upgrades to major transport hubs. Due to increased workload, we’re looking for a System Engineer (BMS) to support the integration of Siemens Desigo systems across a range of mechanical equipment (AHUs, VRFs, chillers, heat pumps, etc.). ️ What you’ll be doing: Designing BMS integration for HVAC systems Ensuring mechanical assets support protocols like ModBus or BacNet Advising early on any compatibility issues and needed components Working closely with mechanical teams to ensure seamless connectivity Focused on systems engineering , not control algorithms ✅ What we’re looking for: Solid background in BMS integration , ideally with Siemens Desigo Familiar with HVAC systems and how they communicate Able to identify integration risks and drive resolutions early Comfortable working independently in a contractor environment Rail experience is desirable or large infrastructure, oil and gas, data centre experience could also work Why join us?
