Software Engineer - React

Job Description: As a Frontend Engineer, you will play a key role in developing user-friendly, high-performance, and responsive web applications. You will work closely with product managers, backend engineers, and designers to create modern, feature-rich applications that integrate seamlessly with cloud-based services. You will leverage your expertise in React, TypeScript, and AWS to build scalable and maintainable solutions that power financial applications. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain responsive and intuitive web interfaces using React and TypeScript. Work with backend engineers to integrate RESTful APIs and cloud-based services (AWS). Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while adhering to best practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, design, and backend engineers, to deliver high-quality features and enhancements. Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize performance issues to ensure a seamless user experience. Stay up to date with the latest frontend technologies and best practices, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts within the team. Contribute to the overall architecture and design of the platform, ensuring scalability and maintainability. Ensure accessibility, security, and cross-browser compatibility across all platforms and devices. Key Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience 3 years working with frontend technologies, specifically React and TypeScript, in a professional setting. Strong understanding of modern JavaScript, ES6, and frontend best practices. Familiarity with AWS services (such as Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, etc.) and cloud-based architecture. Experience integrating frontend applications with RESTful APIs and web services. Proficiency in version control tools such as Git. Strong knowledge of responsive design, HTML5, CSS3, and frameworks like SASS or Styled Components. Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and test-driven development (TDD). Familiarity with frontend build tools like Webpack, Babel, and NPM/Yarn. Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. A passion for problem-solving, optimization, and writing high-quality, maintainable code. Nice to Have: Experience with state management libraries like Redux or React Context. Familiarity with server-side rendering (SSR) and frameworks like Next.js. Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes. Experience in the fintech industry or with financial applications is a plus.
