DevOps Engineer – Reading/Hybrid - £85K Competitive package We are partners with a leading and innovative SaaS company who are looking to hire a skilled DevOps Engineer for a permanent role. In this position, you will play a key role in managing their cloud-native systems, automating and optimising infrastructure while maintaining the highest standards of security, performance, and scalability. This is an exciting chance to develop advanced software solutions using state-of-the-art technologies in a mission-driven organisation! Requirements: At least 5 years of experience in a DevOps or similar position, preferably within a cloud-first, SaaS, or high-availability environment. Strong expertise with Azure (preferred), AWS, or Google Cloud, along with familiarity with cloud-native tools and services. Experience in DevOps within a Linux-based environment. Proficiency with containerisation and orchestration tools like Kubernetes. Strong background in Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation). Scripting experience (Python or Bash). Hands-on experience in managing large-scale MySQL database instances. Location: Reading/Hybrid Salary: Up to £85K, based on experience, plus bonus and private healthcare.
