Hays are now looking for a FinOps Specialist for one of our local clients. - 12 Month contract - Outside IR35 (circa £550 p/d) - Hybrid, 3 days a week in the office in Swindon In the role Using Cloud native and 3rd party cost management tools to drive cost optimisations across our clients' Cloud estate (Azure and some AWS). Utilising expert knowledge to deliver cloud cost optimization strategies. Building, maintaining, improving custom reports / dashboards to deliver cost reporting. Working with Cloud Engineering & Cloud Platform teams to implement cost optimization recommendations. Defining & implementing a new FinOps governance framework, and roadmap of FinOps activity to optimise Cloud spend.Your profile Strong experience in Cloud FinOps / Cloud spend optimization (Azure). A strong understanding of Azure compute technologies. Knowledge and understanding of Public Cloud pricing schemes and Services. Ability to manage and execute commitment-based savings plans / Reserved instances for AWS and Azure. Experience of Cloud cost management tooling and strong native tooling skills are essential.
