Interim Vendor Manager - IT

Your new company One of our leading Financial Service clients in London is looking to appoint a long-term-month contractor to join their Vendor Management team specifically aligned to Tier 1 &2 Technology Vendors. This organisation has gone through a major transformation and therefore someone who is able to lead vendors with little supervision is required in this role. This role covers long-term maternity leave, therefore the role could be up to 18-months in length. Your new role As the strategic IT Vendor Manager, you will be leading all conversations, reviews, negotiations with key suppliers across technology and holding them to account on all deliverables to the business. This role is a global one based out of London and you will be ensuring that the full contract lifecycle is sound from tendering through to delivery and supplier payment. What you'll need to succeed To succeed in this role, you will be a confident individual with notable experience within the financial services sector as well as engaging with technology suppliers as the bulk of your experience. You will be a 'doer' and be willing to get stuck in and make things happen to better the vendor model in this organisation.
