Quality Assurance Engineer - Cardiff Hybrid – Cardiff-based office, 1-days p/week in the office Full-time | Permanent | £40-50k & bonus & benefits We’re hiring a QA Engineer to join a growing digital engineering team working on modern platforms like .NET, Angular, and Power Platform. You’ll take the lead on improving test automation, shaping quality processes, and ensuring robust software delivery across both public-facing and internal systems. The Role You’ll work closely with developers, solutions leads, and stakeholders to: Build and maintain automated test suites using C# and modern frameworks Create and run test plans (manual & automated) Support regression testing and release processes Improve test coverage, spot gaps, and promote QA best practice Drive quality-first thinking in a collaborative team What You’ll Need Must-haves: 3 years QA experience Automation skills in C# (.NET) JavaScript/TypeScript scripting for testing Experience creating structured test documentation Confident spotting areas for process improvement Nice to have: Azure exposure CI/CD pipeline awareness SQL basics Familiarity with version control systems AI testing tools (a bonus, not a blocker) About You You’re someone who: Knows when to challenge things and isn’t afraid to speak up Enjoys problem-solving and finding better ways to do things Communicates well with both tech teams and the business Can juggle short-term fixes with long-term thinking Likes working in a fast-paced, delivery-focused environment If you're a solid QA Engineer looking to make an impact in a modern, forward-thinking team, this is a great opportunity.
