IT Support Engineer

We’re looking for a Senior IT Engineer to join our growing team. You don’t need to be a wizard, but you should be confident in setting up and maintaining cloud infrastructure, undertaking migrations, and acting as the go-to person for cloud-related queries. This is a hands-on technical role that also offers the opportunity to influence best practices and mentor junior staff. Key Responsibilities: Setup, manage, and maintain cloud infrastructure (primarily Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365). Lead or support migration projects, including on-prem to cloud transitions. Provide 3rd line support across all core IT areas (networking, servers, storage, security, and desktop environments). Act as the escalation point for cloud and infrastructure-related issues. Collaborate with clients to understand business requirements and recommend suitable solutions. Document processes, configurations, and procedures to ensure knowledge sharing. Stay updated with the latest cloud technologies and trends. Key Skills & Experience: Solid experience in Microsoft 365 administration and troubleshooting . Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure (Azure preferred) – deployment, configuration, and management. Demonstrated experience in 3rd line support across a variety of IT systems. Experience with server, network, and storage technologies . Good interpersonal and communication skills – comfortable working directly with clients. Experience in an MSP environment is highly desirable. Desirable (Not Essential): Relevant certifications (Microsoft, CompTIA, etc.) Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery tools Familiarity with RMM tools and IT documentation platforms
