Data Architect (ETL, Python, Spark)

Data Architect (ETL, Python, Spark) – Sr. Data Architect Responsible for designing, developing, integrating, and maintaining modern data management systems, primarily focused on shared disk versus shared nothing use cases. Experienced with Snowflake, AWS Redshift, or similar MPP databases. Build and design modern digital data platforms following DataOps best practices, using tools like Markit, Business Objects, Informatica, MS SQL, PL/SQL, etc. Deep knowledge of Big Data, cloud data solutions, and real-time streaming data technologies. Designed and implemented enterprise-grade data platforms deployed in production environments. Expertise in building large-scale real-time data pipelines for data curation, feature engineering, and machine learning, using Kafka, Kafka Streams, Spark Streaming, and similar cloud-native technologies, on-premise or on cloud (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure). Experience in designing and optimizing data tiers supporting scaled AI and analytics, utilizing cloud-native data stores like Redshift, S3, BigQuery, NoSQL, and Graph Stores. Must Have Skills: AWS, Python, Data Modelling, Spark Preferred Skills: 4+ years programming in SQL, R, and/or Python. Experience with R and/or Python strongly desired. Experience with Spark desired. Familiarity with data warehousing concepts. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Familiarity with IBM DB2 and SQL Server (SSRS, SSIS, SSAS). Experience & Qualifications: BA/BS degree in Math, Marketing, Computer Science, or related analytical/quantitative field. Strong mathematical, analytical skills, and mastery of web analytics techniques. Experience in data collection, development, and reporting insights. Highly organized with diligent and creative problem-solving skills. Proven data interpretation and technical skills. Knowledge of multi-site website functionality, tracking, and tagging infrastructure. Experience with statistical analysis methods (A/B testing, t-tests, z-tests). Team player, able to work independently and collaboratively. Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines. Effective communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
