Business Analyst

Iris's client, Banking domain, is currently searching for a strong Business Analyst for a contractual opportunity. Job title: Business Analyst Location: Hybrid (Toronto, ON) Duration: 18 Months Skills: Business analysis, AML, Payments Job Description: Strong understanding of Sanctions compliance frameworks and screening tools (e.g., Fircosoft, Pelican, Actimize, or similar). Solid knowledge of global and domestic payment systems, including messaging formats (SWIFT MT/MX, ISO 20022). Familiarity with regulatory expectations in Canada around AML and sanctions (e.g., OSFI, FINTRAC, UN, EU, US OFAC). Proven experience gathering and documenting business and system requirements using tools like Confluence, JIRA, Visio.
