Design Manager

Iris's Direct client, a highly diversified financial services provider based in Canada is looking to hire a UX / Design Manager for a Long-Term Contract / Full Time opportunity. Location: Toronto, ON - Hybrid (3 days from office) JOB DESCRIPTION Oversee the design aspects of product development from concept to launch, ensuring timely and successful delivery Proficient in design, prototyping, and project management tools: Figma, MURAL, Adobe Creative Suite, Confluence, JIRA etc. Mastery of visual design skills (i.e., grids, balance, color theory), excellent attention to detail, and a deep understanding of the principles of atomic design, including symbols, layer styles, and variables. Extensive experience working with and growing a design library, as well as creating, maintaining, and scaling design systems. Strong knowledge and application of AODA (Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act) guidelines and WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) to ensure designs are inclusive and accessible to all users.
