C++ Software Engineer

**Hybrid | San Diego, CA**

Our client is seeking a strong C++ Developer to work in a hybrid environment in San Diego (2 days onsite per week).

Rate: $65 - $75 / hr. w2

• Apply thorough knowledge of software methodologies to design and develop robust software solutions.
• Design and development of software applications using C++, employing design patterns and following the complete application development lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain scripts using at least one scripting language to automate tasks and improve efficiency.
• Interface with relational database management systems (RDBMS) such as Oracle, ensuring strong proficiency in database management and optimization.
• Implement and maintain software solutions using both Object Oriented and procedural programming languages.
• Utilize UNIX command-level skills to manage and troubleshoot system operations.
• Develop and maintain build automation processes using tools such as Make, CMake, and shell scripting to streamline software development and deployment.

1. Thorough knowledge of software methodologies, distributed networking, databases, communications, and multiprocessing applications
2. Significant experience with C++ design and development, design patterns, complete application development lifecycle, and at least one scripting language
3. Strong proficiency in database interfacing and relational database management systems (RDBMS such as Oracle or similar)
4. Expert knowledge of Object Oriented and procedural languages
5. Solid UNIX command level and “Make File” experience. Shell scripting and build automation (make, cmake, etc.) knowledge
