This high-impact role reports directly to the President/CEO and collaborates with all departments to lead technological innovation, guide data strategy, and implement tools that empower our people and properties to thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technology Oversight: Manage hardware, software, and cybersecurity infrastructure—including third-party IT partners—while protecting company data and ensuring system continuity.
- Business Intelligence: Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and data systems that inform decisions, track performance, and deliver insights across the portfolio.
- Operational Transitions: Oversee tech-related aspects of management transitions, including takeovers and terminations.
- Innovation & Efficiency: Identify, test, and deploy emerging technologies and process improvements that reduce operating costs, streamline workflows, and give our teams a competitive edge.
- Training & Support: Provide system training and ongoing support to onsite and corporate teams to promote adoption and consistency.
- Trend Analysis: Stay ahead of industry innovations and align them with LUMA’s long-term strategic goals.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in property management or a related industry, with at least 1 year in an onsite role (e.g., leasing, assistant manager, or property manager)
- 2+ years of experience analyzing operational or financial performance in real estate
- High-level proficiency with Microsoft tools (PowerBI, Teams, Azure, PowerAutomate)
- Familiarity with database systems (SQL, OLAP) and property management software
- Programming knowledge (e.g., Python, JavaScript, JSON) is a strong plus
