We work with Security Intelligence Solutions, which our clients use to stay on top of threats to their business. Within our platform, we serve many different types of data. Our product team consists of Data Scientists, Backend and Frontend developers, Product Managers, Designers, and QA professionals collaborating to create efficient products.

You would join a dynamic team eager to take on new challenges and passionate about what they do.

What you will be doing:

  • Lead and own the design, development, and optimization of large-scale data pipelines that process and analyze malware samples.
  • Optimize feature extraction, high-volume cloud, ETL processes, storage solutions, and real-time data streaming for scalability and reliability.
  • Work closely with our internal researchers, data scientists, and platform engineers to ensure efficient data ingestion, enrichment, and correlation to enhance threat detection and response.
  • Continuously design, develop, and deploy features with a focus on high availability, great quality, low latency, and scalability.
  • Work with threat intelligence feeds, sandbox reports, and different threat detection rules’ formats to enrich malware detection.
  • Select optimal methods and techniques for obtaining solutions alongside technical coordination of efforts within the Product Team.
  • Measure and evaluate features and system metrics to improve quality and service performance.
  • Implement automation for data collection, analysis, and alerting to reduce manual effort.
  • Network with key contacts outside the area of expertise.
  • Be proactive, go beyond expectations, and be independent and self-driven.

What you will need:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience as a software engineer, preferably in technical lead roles.
  • Strong experience in Python, Scala, or Java for backend development.
  • Proficiency in distributed computing frameworks (Spark, Kafka, Flink) and AWS cloud services.
  • Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines for deployment automation.
  • Architected and developed solutions to ambiguous problems with significant impact.
  • Lead high-level discussions on technology strategy and approach.
  • Hands-on experience in building real-time systems, preferably threat detection, with the ability to analyze complex security data and develop efficient solutions.
  • Experience in working in agile teams, collaborating with other teams and subject areas to deliver software from MVP phase to full-scale.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively advocate technical solutions to product, engineering, and business audiences.
  • Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent education/work experience.
  • Strong English communication skills are a must.
