We are seeking a talented Sr. Software Engineer to join our Mobility Team. In this role, you will collaborate with Data Engineers, Software Engineers, Data Scientists, Agile Delivery Leads, and Technical Product Owners to tackle complex problems. You will be at the forefront of driving innovation in mobility, safety, and convenience services, helping shape the future of these critical areas by designing and building scalable backend services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Backend Development: Develop, test, and maintain backend services using Node.js and Java.
- API and Microservices Design: Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices to support system functionality and scalability.
- Feasibility Analysis: Produce software requirements specifications and assess their operational feasibility at scale to meet business requirements.
- Continuous Integration: Continuously integrate and deliver software components into a fully functional software system while improving the continuous integration process.
- AWS Cloud Services: Work with AWS services, including Lambda, EC2, S3, DynamoDB, Flink, RDS, API Gateway, and SQS.
- Infrastructure Management: Work with IaaS tools such as Terraform for infrastructure automation and management.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience: At least 5+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on writing clean, concise, tested, and maintainable code.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Node.js and Java for backend development.
- AWS Knowledge: Hands-on experience with AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, etc.
- Architecture Expertise: Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and event-driven systems.
- Database Experience: Experience with both SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (e.g., DynamoDB) databases.
- DevOps & CI/CD: Experience with CI/CD pipelines and familiarity with DevOps best practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with additional AWS services or experience with other backend technologies is a plus.
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is beneficial.
Certifications (if any):
AWS Certifications (Preferred but not required).
