Position Overview:

Works on a product team to design, develop, and test the overall technological architecture of the product with the help of the team. Ensures commitments to the sprint are delivered on time and with quality. Looks for better ways to solve technical problems and design solutions, challenging the status quo. Builds using modern design patterns and architectural principles. Responsible for unit, functional, integration, and regression tests, and develops automation tools for daily tasks. Develops high-quality, well-documented, and efficient code. Provides solutions to complex problems that are innovative, thorough, and practical. Works independently with limited direction, determining approaches to solutions. Interacts frequently with senior customer personnel on significant technical matters, often coordinating across organizational lines. Requires a Computer Science Degree or equivalent experience; advanced studies/degree preferred. Typically has 5-7 years of related experience.

Your Impact:

You will mentor team members and drive the adoption of modern software engineering and delivery practices such as Agile, BDD, Stateless Design, Microservices, and Containerization.

Qualifications:

  • At least 5-7 years of experience engineering solutions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering, or equivalent experience; advanced studies and degree preferred.
  • Over 4 years of experience leading modernized development teams.
  • Deep knowledge of designing and implementing solutions in the cloud (AWS), including custom code on IaaS/PaaS and SaaS integrations.
  • Good communication skills for interfacing with business lines and IT teams.
  • Languages: Java, Angular, Node.js, Python.
  • Tools: Jenkins, Cucumber, Atlassian Suite (Jira, Bitbucket), Git.
  • Databases: PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MongoDB.
  • Cloud: AWS.
  • Other: EKS, Docker.

This position has an annualized salary range of $116,000 - $174,000 and is eligible for the annual incentive program. Final salary depends on responsibilities, experience, skills, internal pay equity, and other relevant factors.
