The Role:
The Senior Software Robotics Engineer supports the adoption of Robotics Software Engineering within GM's Manufacturing IT organization, aiming to improve manufacturing productivity and efficiency.
This role involves identifying, evaluating, and adopting rapid, iterative robotics software solutions in collaboration with Junior and Staff Robotics Software Engineers and Manufacturing Engineering partners. The ideal candidate embraces, executes, and applies transformative robotic technologies, including simulation, ML/DL, computer vision, and delivering turnkey solutions.
