Software Engineer

TapHere is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Software Engineer to join the team in Fairfax, VA.

Experience Required:

1. Apply software engineering principles to analyze, problem-solve, and design solutions.
2. Analyze and document system requirements, desired features, and technical constraints and dependencies.
3. Design and develop test cases.
4. Use Agile methodologies to develop software.
5. Perform system risk and reliability analysis.
6. Assess new technologies before adoption and implementation.
7. Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent degree with 5 years’ experience.
8. IAT Level II certification.
9. Active DOD TS/SCI Clearance.
10. Experience with Programming Languages: Java, C, Python, JavaScript.

Skills Required:

1. Leverage a strong foundation of technical knowledge and skills required in various areas related to software development.
2. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical specifications.
3. Create and develop software solutions to meet these needs, taking user feedback into account and ensuring the finished product meets expectations.
4. Write clear, effective, well-documented code that satisfies project requirements.
5. Participate in code reviews and design discussions.
6. May oversee the efforts of less senior staff and/or be responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific job.
7. Experience with Project Management Tools (Confluence and JIRA).
