We are seeking a talented software engineer to design and develop complex Electronic Design Automation (EDA) software used in various electronic devices, from hearing aids to high-end servers and tablets.

Responsibilities:

1. Design and develop advanced automated design flows for 3D-IC, IC Packaging, and PCB applications.
2. Develop cutting-edge placement and power solutions, focusing on manufacturing technologies and automation.
3. Apply knowledge of object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, and possess strong communication and problem-solving skills to innovate in automated design technologies.
4. Provide technical leadership, including software engineering practices.
5. Collaborate on architecture and design decisions.
6. Incorporate machine learning elements into software system design.
7. Plan, develop, test, and maintain software enhancements, ensuring quality and customer satisfaction.
8. Coordinate with R&D, cross-functional teams, and customers to keep development on track.
9. Troubleshoot and resolve system and customer issues.

Position Requirements:

• MS in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering with 4+ years of relevant experience, or PhD with 2+ years.
• Strong knowledge of algorithms and optimization techniques.
• Proficiency in C/C++.
• Understanding of modern source control practices.

The annual salary range for California is $136,500 to $253,500. Additional incentives may include bonuses, equity, and benefits. Compensation varies based on qualifications and location. Benefits include paid vacation, holidays, 401(k), stock purchase plans, and medical options.
