Lead DevOps Engineer - £70,000 - £90,000 Bonus - Stockport, Cheshire based (Hybrid 2 days per week in the office) Due to a huge increase in demand for their platform, my FinTech client are scaling quickly and as such, need a Lead DevOps Engineer to own the DevOps roadmap and develop their infrastructure ensuring scalability and reliability as they migrate to a new cloud environment. This is the perfect role for a Senior DevOps Engineer / Platform Engineer who has mentored more junior DevOps Engineers to step into a lead position. My client are in exciting phase of their journey and they are scaling rapidly. This role is a hybrid role (2 days per week in office) based in Cheshire just south of Manchester. Essential Technical skills: AWS and/or GCP Containerization and deployment - Docker and Kubernetes and/or GKE IaC - Terraform CI/CD pipelines Other Essential Skills: Team leadership - you will have mentored more junior DevOps engineers or led DevOps teams previously Strategy - Design and deliver the DevOps Roadmap Stakeholder Management - work with the wider business to align infrastructure strategy with the business objectives.
