Data Migration Specialist

Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Migration Expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data migration projects, particularly in complex queries, stored procedures, and cursors. This role requires strong analytical skills, previous migration experience, and the ability to effectively communicate and coordinate with customers. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and implement data migration processes using SQL Server, Oracle, and PostgreSQL. - Write and optimize complex queries, stored procedures, and cursors. - Analyze and map data from legacy systems to new systems. - Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure successful data migration. - Conduct data validation and quality checks to ensure data integrity. - Provide support and troubleshooting for data migration issues. - Coordinate and communicate with customers, facilitating workshops and gathering requirements. - Ask insightful questions to gather detailed information and ensure thorough understanding of migration needs. Technical Skills Required: - Proficiency in SQL Server, Oracle, and PostgreSQL. - Expertise in writing complex queries, stored procedures, and cursors. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Previous experience in data migration projects. Preferred Skills: - Knowledge of the vehicle leasing domain. - Experience in customer coordination and communication. - Customer-facing experience.
