Job Title: End-to-End Tester (SQL & ETL Expert with Security Clearance) Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled End-to-End Tester with strong experience in SQL and ETL testing to join our quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and efficiency of database applications, data warehouses, and ETL processes. This role requires extensive hands-on experience in database testing, SQL scripting, ETL validation, and data integrity checks. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for end-to-end testing of database and ETL applications. Validate ETL processes, data migration, and data transformation activities across various systems. Write complex SQL queries to perform data validation and integrity checks. Identify, document, and track defects related to databases and ETL processes. Work closely with developers, data engineers, and business analysts to ensure data accuracy and consistency. Automate database and ETL testing processes using industry-standard tools and frameworks. Analyze test results and provide detailed reports on defects and test coverage. Ensure compliance with data security and regulatory requirements. Participate in Agile development processes and contribute to sprint planning and reviews. Work effectively in a multi-vendor environment , collaborating with diverse teams and stakeholders. Apply risk-based testing and assessment methodologies to prioritize testing efforts and mitigate potential risks. Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 5 years of experience in end-to-end testing with a focus on database and ETL processes. Expertise in SQL queries, stored procedures, and database testing methodologies . Strong knowledge of ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, SSIS, or DataStage. Experience with data warehousing concepts and testing strategies . Hands-on experience with test automation tools for database testing (e.g., Selenium, Python, dbUnit, or similar frameworks). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Experience working in Agile environments is a plus. Active security clearance is required for this role. Knowledge of cloud-based database solutions (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is an advantage. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Snowflake) is a plus. Certification in database technologies or testing methodologies.
