Senior Solutions Analyst – Investment Management – Fixed Income

Our client, a leading global investment manager, are growing their European operation and are looking to hire a senior solutions analyst to join their dynamic investment technology team in London. Focussed on fixed income, this is a senior (director level) role working closely with portfolio managers, portfolio analysts, risk and quant research, to understand current investment tooling and data and help design and deliver new solutions. To be successful in this role you will need a deep understanding of the asset management industry, specifically fixed income, and specifically front office, alongside a strong technology background designing and developing innovative tooling in a similar environment. Key responsibilities will include: Engaging with the investment teams portfolio managers, portfolio analysts, risk and quant research to design and develop new investment tools to improve workflow and process. Prototype portfolio management tools using Power BI, Python, and SQL. Drive future state investment solutions to enhance productivity through automation, leveraging generative AI to drive efficiencies. Coordinate with development teams to deliver on product development. Provide day to day support to the portfolio management team in their use of internal tools and platforms. Key requirements: Deep experience in the asset management industry – particularly in a front office fixed income environment. Deep understanding of the investment process – portfolio construction, allocation and risk management. Strong analytical skills with the ability to deep-dive into current tools and workflows. Strong communication skills – able to succinctly discuss complex investment and technical concepts to stakeholders. Strong technical skills in Python, SQL and Power BI. Experience building/optimizing quant tools. Experience working with OMS platforms such as Alladin. Leadership skills – leading delivery teams and mentoring junior talent.
