Role Responsibilities: Engineering Coach: Offer constructive feedback and conduct regular one-on-one meetings to foster team development. Results-Oriented Execution: Assist the team in achieving goals by removing obstacles and acting as a reliable resource. Collaborate with leadership to establish high-level project goals and ensure successful execution. Effective Communication: Engage with active listening, promote transparency, and encourage open dialogue while coordinating with team members across disciplines. Strategic Planning: Develop a clear roadmap and set defined goals to help the team understand their contributions to our overarching vision. Technical Guidance: Leverage your technical expertise to assist the team in overcoming challenges with informed guidance. Career Development Support: Facilitate discussions regarding career paths, growth opportunities, and performance evaluations. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience Experience building AI-powered software or products featuring LLMs Proficiency with AI coding tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, Co-Pilot, Codex, etc. 6 years as an engineering manager with a track record of managing teams in game development Thorough understanding of software development practices and their application Experience adapting to various work styles and communication approaches Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams Experience in organizing and leading planning and discussion meetings Familiarity with 3D math and fundamental gaming technologies Experience at growing and mentoring engineering teams Preferred Qualifications: Expertise in managing Graphics or Server Engineers Hands-on experience with C++ in 3D Game Engine development Compensation: $184,000/year to $257,000/year bonus equity benefits Industry: Internet Equal Opportunity: Meta is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer, committed to inclusivity and diversity in the workplace.
