Infrastructure/Cloud Engineer - Fantastic opportunity to join a well established Medical related business • Maintaining a hybrid on-prem infrastructure and cloud platform • Automating resource provisioning including compute and storage resources, logging, and monitoring • Automating resource management such as scaling data ingress and egress, load-balancing, security updates and backups • Build tools which reduce occurrences of errors and improve user experience • Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance • Liaise with Security Engineer to re-configure / patch existing Cloud applications / service • Technical review of all current and future cloud/infrastructure environments including security provision • Responsible for ensuring standards and processes set out by any Design Authority/CCoE are adhered to for all Cloud engagements • Responsible for ensuring the Cloud service catalogue is up to date • Provide implementation and design enablement support for the usage of cloud • Managing the 3rd party suppliers performance in relationship to Cloud operations • Contribute towards Cloud evangelism • Provide input into Cloud initiatives and Cloud Strategies Ideally you will have some of the following: - • 5 years working experience of IT systems environments—operating systems, networking, applications, platforms, and databases • 3 years hands-on working experience with cloud technologies including the architectural design and deployment of cloud solutions (e.g., Azure cloud skills and possess some DevOps skills VMWare & Windows networking Our client also offers a great benefit package with a good pension - 1 to 2 days a week in the office the rest WFH
