Implementation Manager

We're Hiring: Implementation Manager – 12-Month Contract – Heathrow Airport Role: Implementation Manager Location: Heathrow (primarily on-site, ~4 days/week) Start Date: ASAP ⏳ Contract Duration: 12 months Rate: Up to £57.00 per hour (inside IR35) ⏱ Hours: 37.5 per week Security Transformation Programme My client is seeking an experienced Implementation Manager to support a major security transformation programme based at Heathrow Airport. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced and rapidly growing delivery team responsible for managing and implementing large-scale IT infrastructure projects. Key Responsibilities: Lead and coordinate the end-to-end delivery of IT and network infrastructure projects. Collaborate with planning supervisors, construction managers, and airport stakeholders. Ensure smooth project handovers and manage documentation for ongoing support. Oversee supplier delivery, ensure adherence to processes, and resolve project changes. Engage with key airport departments (Security, Terminal Ops, Baggage, etc.) for project buy-in. Manage reporting, documentation, and communication throughout project lifecycle. Required Skills & Experience: Strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities. Experience delivering complex telecoms/networking/IT infrastructure projects. Hands-on experience in LAN technologies; knowledge of CCTV, access control, and wireless tech is a plus. Proficiency in MS Project, Excel, Word, Visio. Minimum of 2 years in an operational IT, Network, or Engineering role. Formal project management training or certifications beneficial.
