Backend Developer/Analyst

About the Company We're seeking a backend developer who can work both independently and collaboratively to build high-quality applications using a variety of tools and technologies. You should be adaptable, eager to learn, and committed to delivering solutions that meet business needs. You will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, and supporting web and client-server applications. This includes: Collaborating with technical leads and subject matter experts Troubleshooting and resolving user issues Ensuring timely and high-quality delivery Quickly adapting to shifting priorities Taking full ownership of assigned tasks Responsibilities Apply sound software engineering practices Communicate clearly and effectively Deliver detail-oriented, high-quality work Support legacy UNIX-based applications Manage multiple projects simultaneously Work well in team environments Qualifications Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field Required Skills 3 years of recent experience with: ASP.NET, C#, Web & Win Forms Web services (XML, SOAP, WCF) Oracle (SQL, PL/SQL), C, Perl Unix shell scripting Excellent communication skills - Articulate and ability to translate technical conversations into business terms Preferred Skills 5 years of overall IT software experience Full time perm role: In- office at Port Credit.
