Dynamics 365 Business Central Implementation Consultant

Position Overview
We are looking for a knowledgeable and client-focused Dynamics 365 Business Central Implementation Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will lead and support the end-to-end implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC) for a variety of clients across industries. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements, configure the system, and ensure a smooth transition from legacy systems to Business Central.
This is a hands-on role that requires strong functional knowledge of Business Central, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality ERP solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage full-cycle implementations of Dynamics 365 Business Central, including discovery, design, configuration, testing, training, and go-live support.
- Conduct business process analysis and gather requirements to tailor Business Central solutions to client needs.
- Configure and customize Business Central modules such as Finance, Supply Chain, Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, and Manufacturing.
- Collaborate with technical teams to support data migration, integrations, and custom development.
- Provide training and support to end-users and client stakeholders.
- Create functional documentation, user guides, and training materials.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering best practices and strategic guidance.
- Support post-implementation optimization and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (or NAV).
- Strong understanding of core ERP processes: finance, operations, inventory, and supply chain.
- Experience with requirements gathering, gap analysis, and solution design.
- Ability to configure Business Central without heavy reliance on development.
- Familiarity with Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate) is a plus.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft certifications in Dynamics 365 Business Central or related areas.
- Experience with Jet Reports, AL language, or extensions development.
- Background in accounting or finance is highly desirable.
- Experience working in a consulting or client-facing role.
