Project Support Administrator

About the Role: We are seeking a technically experienced and highly organised Project Support Coordinator on a contract basis until November 2025. This is an ideal role for someone with a background in structured cabling who prefers a more desk-based environment, supporting project delivery teams by preparing job packs, documentation, and technical instructions for engineers. Key Responsibilities: * Develop and maintain comprehensive job packs and installation documentation for field engineers * Interpret technical drawings, site surveys, and project specifications into clear engineer instructions * Liaise with project managers and site teams to ensure documentation meets the operational needs * Track and update job progress using internal systems * Ensure all documents meet internal quality and compliance standards Required Skills & Experience: * Practical understanding of structured cabling (Cat5e, Cat6, Fibre, containment systems, etc.) * Previous on-site engineering experience is preferred * Strong IT proficiency, especially in MS Office (Excel, Word, Visio) * Ability to interpret technical drawings and construction schematics * Clear and professional communication skills * High level of attention to detail and task ownership * Able to work independently in a desk-based or hybrid role Desirable Qualifications: * ECS/CSCS card (past or current) * Experience with Visio, AutoCAD, or similar for drawings * Familiarity with project tracking or documentation tools (SharePoint, Smartsheet, etc.) * Experience with RAMS or technical compliance paperwork
