Test Engineer

Senior / Lead Test Engineer - FinTech / Consultancy - On-Site Oliver Bernard are currently working with a leading FinTech client of ours, based in Newcastle, who offer consultancy services for a variety of big players in the finance and investment space. At present, they're growing organically across the business as a whole, with a focus on the QA / Testing team over the next 6 months. As such, they're looking to hire several heads at Senior and Lead levels, to help drive and scaling their Testing best practices from an Automation perspective. The primary tech stack for this opening is C# focused, but the client will consider engineers that comes from any OOP background - including Java, JavaScript and Python. To apply, you must have a STEM degree at 2:1, or above, from a Russell Group University, alongside the following experience: Hands-On coding experience with an OOP language (C#, Java, JavaScript and Python etc.) Framework experience with one of SpecFlow, Selenium, Cucumber, WebdriverIO, Playwright etc. Strong CI/CD experience, with one of Azure DevOps, GitHub, GitLab or Jenkins Additional work across API Testing with REST and / or Postman is also a big bonus Prior experience in Agile environments, with an problem solving mindset This opportunity can offer £100-140K for the right profile, alongside benefits, and is on-site 5 days p/week in Newcastle .
