Job title: Front-End Game Developer (Animation WebGL PixiJS) Location: Remote UK Salary: £65,000 Tech: JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, PixiJS, WebGL Opus have partnered with a company on the hunt for a Front-End Game Developer with a passion for animation and interactive experiences. If you live and breathe gaming, know your way around WebGL and JavaScript, and have a knack for creating smooth, high-performance visuals — this might be your next big move. Day to Day, you’ll be building engaging, responsive browser-based games from concept to deployment, developing rich animations and visual effects using WebGL and PixiJS. You’ll need to enjoy working within a collaborative team that includes designers, artists, and back-end developers, ideally working within the casino or slot gaming sector. Requirements: 2 years’ experience in game development Strong skills in WebGL, and JavaScript/TypeScript and JS frameworks. Solid understanding of performance optimization and rendering pipelines Experience creating and integrating game animations A portfolio of past projects or prototypes (GitHub/CodePen/showcase site, etc.) Excellent communication skills In return, they’re offering fully remote working within the UK and a salary of up to £65,000.
