You’ll architect scalable, high-performance UI systems, lead a talented team, and shape the future of front-end development in a fast-paced, design-led environment. What You’ll Own Own and evolve a robust, scalable design system that supports rapid product development across the organisation. Translate Figma designs into production-ready React components using TypeScript & Next.js Define and drive best practices in UI architecture, testing, accessibility, and performance. Collaborate closely with product and design teams to align vision with execution. Champion a design-first, developer-friendly culture that values quality, velocity, and innovation. Influence front-end strategy, tooling, and workflows at scale. Play a key role in hiring and scaling the UI function as the company continues its rapid expansion. What You Bring 7 years of front-end engineering experience with deep expertise in React and TypeScript. Proven expertise in UI engineering, with a strong track record of building and maintaining design systems/ internal tools & libraries (Library maintainer!) Mastery of JavaScript fundamentals, browser APIs, and performance profiling tools. Experience with Node.js, Next.js, and modern front-end tooling. Passion for testing, accessibility, and developer experience. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, problem-solving mindset. Bonus: Open-source contributions or community recognition.
