DATA ANALYST Passion City Church OBJECTIVE To help carry out the mission of Passion City Church, that we are: for God, for people, for the city, and for the world . Supports the mission and vision of Passion through data analysis, interpretation and storytelling for process improvement, growth opportunities and ministry impact. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Leverages SQL reporting to meet Passion's analytical needs Writes advanced SQL using CTEs and develops stored procedures and functions Builds and maintains business intelligence reporting and systems (Power BI) Assists with data integrity and flow between all Technology solutions + integrations Leads in creating and maintaining ChMs metrics for Business Intelligence Analyzes data sets to communicate trends, patterns and opportunities Assists with preparation of analytical storytelling, turning data into compelling visuals Optimizes databases within a data warehouse to support efficient storage and retrieval Assists with Technology's operation and administration as needed Ensures data processes align with GDPR and Passion's privacy policies Responsible for versioning assets for digital and print mediums using existing and approved concepts This job description in no way states or implies that the ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES are the only responsibilities of this position. WORK SCHEDULE Monday - Friday SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES None REPORTS TO Data + Analytics Manager AN IDEAL INDIVIDUAL Degree in computer science, data science, or equivalent education and experience preferred. One or more years of experience in a role that required timeliness, organization and good communication skills. Individual must be comfortable with various forms of technology and be able to learn new concepts quickly. Excellent problem solving, analytical and evaluative skills.
