PGS Worldwide is actively seeking a skilled
IT Support Technician to join a leading defense manufacturing environment in Fort Wayne, Indiana. In this role, you'll support end-users through Windows 11 upgrades, workstation deployment, hardware/software installation, and troubleshooting - helping to ensure seamless system functionality across the organization.
Key Responsibilities: - Deploy new and replacement Windows 11 machines in an enterprise setting
- Diagnose and resolve moderate hardware/software issues including VPN, remote access, and performance problems
- Support M365/O365 platform migrations and provide user assistance during transition
- Configure new workstations and manage upgrades in line with corporate IT standards
- Track and respond to service tickets, ensuring timely closure and customer satisfaction
- Conduct diagnostics and generate error reports to resolve issues or escalate as needed
- Assist with IT projects, computer studies, and implementation of area-wide policies
- Provide purchasing support by researching and recommending hardware/software options
- Collaborate with vendors and other support staff for complex issue resolution
Required Qualifications: -
2+ years of IT support experience, with at least a high school diploma
- Hands-on experience with M365/O365 migrations
- Solid working knowledge of computer hardware, software, and terminology
- Ability to resolve desktop support issues including remote access configurations
- Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with ServiceNow ticketing system
- Familiarity with Palo Alto VPN tools as used in corporate desktop support
