DevOps Engineering Manager (Russian Speaking)

I am currently working with a rapidly expanding organisation in the financial sector. They're bolstering their DevOps teams and are currently seeking highly experienced DevOps Manager to lead one of their 6 DevOps teams. You'll be the DevOps Manager , steering the team to build, refine, and sustain a low-latency, high-performance infrastructure, ensuring data is delivered flawlessly. You'll collaborate closely with engineers, development teams, and leadership to implement industry-leading practices and promote a culture of operational excellence and dependability. Successful candidate must be fluent in Russian to enhance communication with the team and wider organisation. Job Title: DevOps Engineering Manager Location: London (Hybrid, 3 Days Onsite) Industry: Software/Finance Start: ASAP Responsibilities: Lead and empower the DevOps team responsible for maintaining the real-time Data Infrastructure, ensuring exceptional scalability, performance, and availability. Direct the efficient ingestion and processing of high-volume, low-latency market data feeds, guaranteeing the seamless handling of real-time financial data. Drive automation and enhance operational efficiency by collaborating with development teams to optimise CI/CD pipelines. Ensure peak performance across the entire technology stack—applications, containers, operating systems, and networking—with a focus on real-time, low-latency environments, and swiftly resolve any arising issues. Mentor, develop, and manage the DevOps team, fostering technical excellence, best practice adoption, and career progression. Align infrastructure strategy with business objectives through close collaboration with cross-functional teams, ensuring robust operational support for new initiatives. Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track system reliability and team effectiveness, proactively identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities. Requirements: 5 years DevOps/Infrastructure, 2 years team leadership. Strong Linux (Debian) expertise in real-time, low-latency environments. Proven Kafka experience for real-time data. Expertise in CI/CD (Jenkins, Groovy, ArgoCD). Kubernetes/Helm experience. Strong performance troubleshooting and automation skills. Excellent communication and leadership. Fluent Russian.
