The Software Architect’s role within the business is to lead the design and development of the platforms which are heavily reliant on API design and implementation. The Software Architecture Team is strategic in nature, and able to help establish technical direction across the organisation. You should have experience within Software Architecture of an enterprise system – as your decisions impact the wider company. This would suit an Architect who has an analytical, thoughtful approach who can drill down into requirements and come up with solutions from critical thinking.
