Job Title: Junior Java Developer Location: London Hybrid working – travel to office is required Full Time Employment Contract also available Experience Level: 0–3 years (up to 4 max) Role Overview: We’re looking for a Junior Java Developer to join a dynamic technology team supporting financial services applications. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior-level engineer with strong Java skills who is eager to learn and grow within a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities: Develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-quality code Work within a Linux environment and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives Engage with technical leads and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions Take ownership of tasks, adapt quickly, and show initiative in learning new technologies or domains Key Requirements: 1–3 years of hands-on Java development experience (max 4 years) Experience working in a Linux/Unix environment Knowledge of Python is a strong plus Interest in financial services/markets (prior experience not required) Excellent interpersonal skills: a fast learner, curious, and adaptable French language skills are a significant bonus If you're an aspiring developer with strong Java fundamentals and a passion for learning, we’d love to hear from you.
