Senior Business Analyst

Our trusted client is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support its internal teams with the planning, execution, and continuous improvement of business processes, documentation, and stakeholder engagement across a variety of projects in a hybrid Agile environment. We’re looking for someone with: 5 years of demonstrated analytical experience in a professional environment 5 years of experience working directly with stakeholders to define requirements, scope, and success metrics 5 years of experience using JIRA to assign, track, and manage tasks across Agile teams 5 years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITSM modules and reporting tools Proficiency with Microsoft Visio, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Experience with process improvement techniques such as Value Stream Mapping Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) designation Strong understanding of the Design Thinking process and how to apply it to user-centric solutions Excellent communication skills, including the ability to draft business cases, user stories, and technical documentation This is a 1-year hybrid contract (on-site 2-3 days/week in Ottawa) with potential extensions.
