Workday Extend Developer

Role: Workday Extend Developer Location: Norwich (Hybrid) Rate: £500£550 per day (Inside IR35) Duration: 6 months (likely extension) Start Date: ASAP Clearance: Must be eligible to work in the UK Our Client: Were working with a leading insurance provider seeking a skilled Workday Extend Developer to support the design, development, and deployment of bespoke Workday Extend applications. You'll play a critical role in enabling internal Workday self-sufficiency through technical delivery and mentoring. ?? Responsibilities: Design, build, and deploy scalable Workday Extend applications. Work cross-functionally with technical teams and BAs to translate requirements into Extend solutions. Follow Workday development standards (security, architecture, integration). Develop reusable code components/templates to accelerate future builds. Manage full SDLC: design ? build ? test ? deploy ? support. Mentor internal developers and transfer Workday Extend knowledge. ?? Your Profile Essential: 12 delivered Workday Extend projects. Strong grasp of Workday object model, XPaths, and security policies. Experience with Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, REST/SOAP APIs. Good programming foundation (JavaScript, OOP). Skilled in REST API/web services and integrations. Confident communicator with mentoring experience. ?? Desirable: Insurance or financial services sector experience. Agile/DevOps familiarity. CI/CD for Workday Extend (Git, Jenkins, test automation). Workday Prism, People Experience, or Reporting exposure. Workday certifications (Extend, Core HCM, Integration).
