Senior UI / React Developer

Role: React Developer Location: London, UK (Hybrid/On-site) Duration: 6 months Rate: £Competitive umbrella About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated React Developer to join our dynamic technology team. This is an exciting opportunity for a full-stack developer with a strong background in financial services, particularly FX trading, to contribute to cutting-edge low-latency trading applications. The role offers significant scope for growth, including the chance to expand into server-side development. Key Responsibilities: ? Develop and maintain high-performance, low-latency trading applications using React.js. ? Engage in full-stack development, contributing to both front-end and back-end components. ? Collaborate closely with front office teams to understand requirements and deliver robust solutions. ? Design and implement multi-threaded Java applications for core trading functionalities. ? Ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and resilient software solutions. ? Actively participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives. Required Skills & Experience: ? Strong experience with React.js and modern front-end development practices. ? Proven experience in low-latency trading environments. ? Demonstrable full-stack development experience. ? Significant experience within Financial Services, with a strong preference for FX trading. ? Excellent Core Java skills, including extensive experience with multi-threading. ? Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to liaise directly and effectively with front office stakeholders. Desired Attributes: ? A proactive and problem-solving mindset. ?
