A brilliant opportunity for a technically-minded individual to join a pioneering deep-tech company as a Technical Support Engineer, working with innovative imaging technology. This role offers the chance to get hands-on with complex systems, providing high-level technical support to a wide variety of customers both in the UK and internationally. Location: Based in Cambridge with regular travel to Oxford and occasional national/international travel Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 per annum 10% bonus equity options healthcare, pension, and other benefits Requirements for Technical Support Engineer: A degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science or a related technical field At least 2 years of experience in a technical support or engineering role Experience developing or supporting advanced imaging or camera systems (infrared experience a plus) Strong communication skills with a proven ability to convey complex technical concepts to a range of audiences Comfortable producing technical documentation, user guides, and support materials Familiarity with networking concepts and IT infrastructure Proficiency in relevant programming or scripting tools Full, clean UK driving licence Familiarity with CRM tools is a bonus Happy to travel regularly as part of the role Responsibilities for Technical Support Engineer: Build, test, debug, and document production-level imaging systems Deliver effective, timely technical support to clients via email, phone, and in person Conduct technical demonstrations and presentations to customers and internal teams Develop and maintain user guides, scripts, and demo materials to support product usage Collaborate with engineering and product teams to identify and resolve product issues and improve user experience What this offers: The chance to work for a cutting-edge tech company at the forefront of imaging technology A varied and challenging role combining hands-on technical work with customer interaction A competitive package including bonus, equity options, and strong benefits The opportunity to travel and work directly with clients on real-world technical challenges Applications: If you meet the requirements and are excited by the opportunity to support next-generation imaging solutions, we’d love to hear from you.
