QA Engineer

QA Software Engineer * Location: London (Hybrid) * Job Type: Full-time Join a leading financial software and hardware vendor as a QA Software Engineer. Open to candidates at all levels of experience, the successful applicant will work among an experienced team, developing skills in technical roles and interacting with global clients. Day-to-day of the role: * Analyse, define, and implement test cases to ensure comprehensive testing of our products. * Become an expert in low-latency, high-performance software and hardware products. * Provide expert usage and technical support for our products to a specialised client base. * Contribute to pre-sales technical support. * Develop automated test tools and continually improve the quality of releases across the company's technical portfolio. Required Skills & Qualifications: * Fluent in English (written and spoken). * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Degree in Computer Science. * Proficient with Linux command-line. * Motivated and eager to learn. Desirable skills include: * Experience in C++ programming and scripting languages, ideally Python. * Experience in QA and automation. * Experience in Market Data * Understanding of networking concepts, monitoring, and troubleshooting. * Familiarity with Git or similar SCM tools. * Knowledge of financial trading infrastructures and applications.
