Project Manager (Bilingual EN/FR)

Our client is seeking an experienced Bilingual Project Manager to lead and deliver digital product initiatives within the insurance sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing digital projects, such as portals and customer-facing applications, within Agile environments. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives. Location: Hybrid Toronto Duration: 12 months Key Responsibilities: Manage product implementations, interfacing with clients in English and French. Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of digital product initiatives, including project planning, execution, monitoring, and closure. Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders. Lead cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, QA, and business analysts. Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders. Facilitate communication between business units, technical teams, and third-party vendors. Conduct regular status meetings and provide updates to stakeholders. Implement and promote Agile practices and methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban. Facilitate sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies. Monitor and manage project backlogs, ensuring alignment with business priorities. Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues. Develop contingency plans and escalate critical risks to senior management when necessary. Oversee the design, development, and deployment of digital products such as portals, dashboards, and self-service tools. Ensure the delivery of user-centric solutions that align with customer needs and business goals. Requirements: Bilingual English and French 8 years of project management experience, preferably in the insurance sector. Proven experience managing digital product initiatives, including portals and customer-facing applications. Demonstrated success in Agile environments. Strong understanding of project management tools and methodologies, including Jira, Confluence, and MS Project. Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities. Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Technical proficiency to collaborate effectively with development teams.
