Infrastructure Engineer

Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 7-10 years of relevant experience in infrastructure engineering or systems administration. Strong expertise in cloud platforms ( AWS, Azure, or GCP ) and virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V). Proficient with networking concepts ( TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, Firewalls ) and storage solutions ( SAN/NAS) . Hands-on experience with infrastructure automation tools like Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, or Chef. Knowledge of container technologies ( Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration . Solid scripting skills in Bash, PowerShell, or Python . Strong understanding of security practices in infrastructure design and operations. Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios, or similar . Preferred Skills: Relevant certifications ( AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Architect, RHCE, etc.). Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tooling. Familiarity with ITIL or other service management frameworks.
