Director of Technology

Technology Director | London (Hybrid) | Full-time/Perm Competitive Salary plus Bonus and Benefits *' Experience leading tech strategy in a multi-channel or D2C retail environment (Must have)' We're on the lookout for a Technology Director to lead our clients growing technology function and play a key role in shaping the future of their fast-paced, digital-first retail business. In this role, you'll own the tech strategy across eCommerce, retail, internal systems, and data. You'll lead a small in-house team and manage their third-party tech partners to deliver exceptional customer and business outcomes. From driving innovation in online platforms to enhancing in-store tech, you'll help them scale smartly and securely. What you’ll be doing: Develop and deliver a tech roadmap aligned with business growth and customer needs Lead internal tech teams and build high-performing partnerships with external vendors Oversee day-to-day IT operations, infrastructure, and support Champion new technologies - AI, personalisation tools, analytics, and more - to drive experience and efficiency Collaborate with senior stakeholders to support digital transformation across the business What you’ll bring: Experience leading tech strategy in a multi-channel or D2C retail environment (Must have)* Deep knowledge of eCommerce platforms, POS systems, ERP/CRM, and Cloud infrastructure Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence at C-suite level and a 'business first' mindset A track record of delivering innovative tech solutions and driving ROI This is a rare opportunity to shape the tech vision in a growing, agile business where digital is at the heart of everything they do.
