Technical Business AnalystJOB DESCRIPTIONThis role acts as a liaison between the business and the technical development teams, assuring program delivery and measure updates are configured and tested to support our growing clean energy goals. Responsibilities include facilitating user requirement workshops, translating business needs into software solutions, working closely with Product Owners, software developers and testers to carry through solutions to launch. This work supports current and future program development and overall reporting to the public service commission.Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum).Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and results.Interact with Internal and External Stakeholders and customers to analyze and document Business RequirementsTranslate Business requirements into technical user stories with relevant acceptance criteria for software developmentOrganize user stories for development sprintsWork closely with software developers and testing team to ensure acceptance criteria are understood and that development work meets criteria describedPrepare system documentation including process flows and customer journey mapsDrive or support multiple and varied activities depending on the product being built: initial user research and need finding, solution development and product ideation, experience mapping, wireframe development, usability testingUse advanced critical thinking skills to diagnose complex problemsCreate test scripts and testing plans with Scrum Master, developers, test leads, and log bugs discovered in testingAbility to facilitate meetings to decompose business processes and understand required changesCreating business process mapping documents and workflowsAbility to learn new technology using documentation and other available resourcesPerform other related tasks and assignments as requiredTECHNICAL SKILLSMust Haveaccurate testing and troubleshootingAgile MethodologyDevelop test plans, test cases, and scripts for user acceptance testing (UAT).Document business requirements and translate into technical requirementsExcellent oral and written communication skillsExperience designing, managing, analyzing, testing or improving software systemsExperience working in a fast-paced, changing environmentExperience working in Scrum/Agile frameworkOrganize work in software ticketing system (Azure Dev Ops, experience with JIRA or similar acceptable)Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Project Management (CPM), Certifications in Scrum/AgileProven experience as a Business AnalystSelf-sufficient person who can work collaboratively in multi-disciplinary teamsSummarize technical concepts and translate them clearly to non-technical stakeholders.Write technical user stories, organizing development sprints Nice To HaveAgile scrum certifiedBusiness Analyst - SalesforceExperience in Azure Dev OpsKnowledge of and work experience with energy efficiency and demand side management initiativesKnowledge of Salesforce TestingProject Management Professional (PMP), Certified Project Management (CPM), Certifications in Scrum/AgileQA Tester
