Working with a high performing, service-oriented, collaborative team in our London office with occasional visits to Birmingham. We are looking for a Document Controller to join the London Office. This is an exciting time for Robert Bird Group, as we go through continual expansion and have a full portfolio of landmark buildings, masterplanning and infrastructure projects which presents an opportunity for someone looking to further their career within a thriving engineering consultancy. Duties Coordinate with teams at mobilisation and information delivery stages, to ensure successful project outcomes. Contribute to the set-up, implementation and development of information management processes and initiatives. Support the project teams and provide training on external client Common Data Environments (CDEs) Manage incoming and outgoing document workflows, issue and track distributions. Check design outputs for adherence to client requirements and RBG internal procedures Work with BIM manager to ensure project adherence to ISO19650 standards Supervise document control team Experience Experience in key IM portals (Aconex, Asite, Viewpoint, Assetwise, for example) Knowledge of ISO 19650 Skilled communication with all parties. Prior responsibility for the supervision and development of team members. Ability to produce effective and adaptive reporting to management teams. Familiarity with information architecture, naming, numbering, filing conventions.
