The Client A major financial services corporation with operations in multiple countries. What you will achieve in the role Support various banking applications. Be the 1st point of contact between business and the 1st level of support. Perform admin support for applications (account admin, make changes, add users, design documentation, monitor issues, make enhancements, etc.). Acts as a liaison and facilitator between all business units and technology teams to investigate and resolve application functionality, technical-related issues or requests . Work with business, technology and management staff to gather business requirements and convert them to technical requirements. Conduct system administration tasks on a regular basis. Develop monthly reports and present status of projects to the leadership team. Design and create queries and reports using SQL, Power BI or any other BI tool, if required Create incident reports for leadership review. Develop presentations for management. Participate in SDLC including testing (unit, end-to-end, parallel), implementation, training and documentation. Provides assistance and advice to business users in the effective use of systems Assist with research to identify solutions for current and future business needs. Identify technology modification requirements in existing applications to meet business user requirements Assist in designing and creating EUC tools by analyzing business, user and regulatory requirements. What you will bring to the role Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (preferably in a technology related discipline). 3 to 5 years of Business Systems Analysis and Application Support in Banking is mandatory. Expertise in writing SQL queries , developing reports and presenting findings. Experience in Visio to visualize process flows. Advanced Excel (macros) knowledge to support end user applications. Proficient in developing presentations using PowerPoint. Exposure to Power BI - gather requirements, determine data fields, provide info to data analytics team. Experience in Fintrac EFT Reporting, DTCC (derivatives reporting) or Document Management Systems is a big asset. Strong process mapping skills; gather and analyze data, organize findings, build presentations Ability to effectively communicate ideas, project status, and recommendations. Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings to all levels of business partners. Strong planning and coordination skills for implementing cross-functional processes and activities. Effective analytical skills and proactive approach to problem-solving with limited supervision Strong organizing, prioritizing and time management skills.
