Build, configure and support the Enterprise Office Network, whilst approaching it with a security-first mindset at a successful hedge fund that are targeting a new growth phase as they enter new markets. It’s a smaller environment, so you’ll see the impact of your work quickly and feedback loops will be shorter. Limited red tape and a desire to implement things quickly are commonplace here. You’ll need to come from a background of designing and supporting networks, ideally in a latency-sensitive environment. The fund have completely rebuilt their infrastructure from the ground up over the past couple of years, favouring an IaC mode - any understanding of NetDevOps processes will be helpful here. From a kit perspective, you'll ideally have exposure to Arista switches, Fortigate firewalls and Meraki wireless networks. You'll work alongside 3 other Network Engineers and will collaborate closely with the Platform Engineering team - this fund hire some of the brightest minds from within Trading & Technology.
