Software Engineer - Automated Insurance Platforms Insurance has a track record of being full of manual processes / slow-moving technology; this firm is looking to pull away from the pack and buck the trend. This role is all about building tools that speed processes up, and take away cumbersome tasks that lead to slowed progress. You'll get the chance to be dynamic with the way you program, constantly look for faster / more exciting ways to build, and be part of something really exciting. Tech-wise, this platform is currently built in PHP, so you'll need some experience with that, be it professionally or academically. There is a long-term goal to transition to a much more modern way of performance, so a brand new Python buildout could be on the horizon for you. You’ll work closely with the wider team to gather business requirements and provide technical expertise to help, and you'll be reporting directly to the VP of engineering.
