Lead PHP Developer North Liverpool (Hybrid after probation) £50,000-£55,000 Bonus PHP, Laravel, Vue, AWS We are looking for a Lead PHP Developer to join a successful software company in Liverpool. The successful Lead PHP Developer will spearhead and lead the technical direction for the business and will be responsible for keeping development efforts on track. You will report directly to the CEO, overseeing a team of 10 technical staff, alongside the Operations Manager, making sure the team are working as effectively as possible. Some of your responsibilities as Lead PHP Developer will include: Ensuring the Development team is working effectively and delivering value consistently, aligned to the Product roadmap. Help to facilitate (and run, where necessary) agile ceremonies, ensuring concerns, barriers, blockers and other items are appropriately raised, escalated and resolved. Hands-on development where needed. Conduct regular code reviews. Contribute regularly to conversations around development process, to help ensure maximum efficiency across the business. Work in tandem with the Operations Manager to lead the team effectively. You will lead from a technical standpoint and the Operations Manager will lead on the people management side. Some of the Requirements needed to be considered for this Lead PHP Developer role: To be considered for this role you must be an experienced Senior Developer/Lead Developer/Technical Lead and confident using PHP and Javascript. You must have worked in a fast paced, high-energy environment, where you have managed multiple projects at any one time. The company use Laravel and Vue as the frameworks of choice so any experience in either of these technologies is advantageous.
